WHO ARE WE HELPING
SERO Uganda is a charity organization specialized in intervention/rescue of accidents and disaster victims.
Uganda is one of the countries known to have most emergencies and accidents on the whole African continent, its reported that at least 20 people die daily and many are not reported. Many people could be saved if there was a standby community emergency rescue team(s) equipped to rescue instantly, but the community members who always respond are ignorant and others end up robbing instead of saving lives, hence many die due to mishandling and lack of ongoing care to the hospital.
By chance a team from USA [East fire Rescue Department]. Seatal came to visit Uganda on evangelical programs, and took us through first responder and EMT-Basic trainings, which inspired to form SERO; "To Establish and provide Emergency Rescue Service to victims of accidents, disasters, illness, and skills to all who can volunteer to rescue lives".
SERO has served in the community for long time, training emergency rescue skills, creating awareness on road use and recuing the casualties who are involved from accidents/ emergencies since 2014 WITHOUT external funding and foreign volunteers
